Ritu Maheshwari is an Indian civil servant and bureaucrat. She is a Punjabi-born IAS officer. She is currently postedin the Uttar Pradesh as Divisional Commissioner, Agra.
She was originally appointed as the Joint Magistrate and Collector of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in February 2005. She was born in 1978. She is wed to Mr. Mayur Maheshwari and they have two children together.

Early Life[]
On July 14, 1978, Ritu Maheshwari (maiden name: Ritu Singla) was born. The state of Punjab is her place of birth. Smt. Saroj Singla and Shri C.D. Singla are her parents. Monika Gupta and Rishabh Singla are her two siblings.
She attended D.A.V. School at M.C.M. DAV College in Chandigarh for her early schooling. After that, she continued her education to earn a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College. She enrolled in the esteemed Amity University in Noida to pursue an MBA in Executive Development after completing her engineering degree.
Career[]
Ritu Maheshwari was appointed as a junior Joint Magistrate and Collector in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in February 2005. She became the Joint Magistrate and SDM of Allahabad in July 2005. She was in charge of district administration and land revenue management.
She was appointed District Collector at Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, in June 2007.
In 2008, Ritu Maheshwari was designated as the Additional Commissioner for the region of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She was named Amroha, Uttar Pradesh's District Magistrate and Collector in 2009.
She was named vice chairman of the Ghaziabad-based Hapur Pilakhuwa Development Authority in May 2010. UP.
She became Managing Director of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh's KESCO (Kanpur Electricity Supply Company) in April 2011. In Shahjahanpur (2013) and Pilibhit (2012), she held the positions of Collector and District Magistrate in Uttar Pradesh.
She was named Director (admin) of the Uttar Pradesh Medical and Health Service in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in February 2013. She served as the Uttar Pradesh government's additional commissioner of food and civil supplies as well as the department's special secretary in October 2013.
She was named MD of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission in 2014.
She was appointed special secretary to the Uttar Pradesh government in May 2015. Director of Medical & Health Services of the Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Department in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
She began her employment as an Executive Director at Electrification Corporation Limited in New Delhi in October 2015.
DM, Collector, Vice Chairperson, and Additional Charge of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) Uttar Pradesh was her posting in 2017.
She was named MD of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation and CEO of Noida in 2019, and in October 2022, she was also given additional responsibility for the Greater Noida Authority in Uttar Pradesh.
She was named the Divisional Commissioner of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, on July 19, 2023.

- 2012: The premiere of the biographical documentary film "Katiyabaaz" at the Berlin International Film Festival, which went on to win the Best Film award in the India Gold Section of the 15th Mumbai Film Festival.
- 2018: The Ministry of Commerce awarded a patent for the health sector project "Aarogyam" at the National Intellectual Property Awards.
- 2018: The Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs named Ghaziabad Municipal Administration the Swachh Bharat Fastest Moving City.
- 2018: Department of Nagar Vikas Uttar Pradesh awarded her the State Award for SBM for Ghaziabad.
- 2018: Department of Nagar Vikas, Uttar Pradesh, received the G-files Governance Award for their work in the power sector.
- 2018: Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) awarded Open Defecation Free (ODF) (Noida) Plus Plus Award for Municipal Administration.
- 2021: Ministry of Urban Affairs awards ODF (Greater Noida) to Municipal Administration.
- 2021: According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, Noida ranks first among India's Cleanest Cities for SBM (Urban).
